stop fear, conquer fear, overcome fear, release fear

Hi, my name is Bill W. Jones Sr. coming to you from Philadelphia, PA.

Please allow me to talk to you about one of the biggest problem facing the world today.
It is FEAR. Every time you turn on the radio or television you hear something negative about the world economy, global warming, and the threat of nuclear war, corporate fraud, bankruptcies, loss of jobs and other negative news. All this negative news is scaring the day-lights out our youth. What hope can we expect them to have for a prosperous future when they are bombarded with such negativity on a daily basis?

It is time for responsible adults to instill some confidence into our youth. We can start by becoming a good role model for them and teaching them how to use the brain God gave them to create their own future. The truth is opportunities abound for those who prepare themselves. It all has to do with mind set.

We have passed from the Industrial Age into the Information Age. And the youth of today must develop an entrepreneur mind set and stop thinking like an employee. I encourage you to read Robert Kiyosaki's book "Business School Second Edition". It will be an invaluable resource on how to prepare for today economic environment

Fear is one of the most destructive emotions known to man. Jesus warned people not to be afraid more than anything else. How did we learn to be so afraid? We were not born being afraid. Babies don't fear anything. If a mother holds out her arms a baby will walk right off a table or any high object. While a child must be taught how to protect it self from harm; there must be a limit or the child will grow up afraid of almost everything.

The first 1-5 years of a child's life are the most important and what they learn during that time will stay with them through out his/her life. When a child is bombarded daily with: don't do this and don't do that, you can't have this and you can't have that, we can't afford it and money don't grow on trees; then they start. School and their teachers teach them to conform to a particular standard and punish them for making mistakes. When you put all of this together, you have a very limited person.

How is one supposed to accomplish anything worth while if he/she is afraid to take chances or to make a mistake? Edison failed more than 10,000 times before he perfected the electric light bulb. Henry Ford failed numerous times before finding a way to cast a V8 engine into one block. Edison and Henry Ford knew that nobody really fails until they stop trying. Can you imagine a baby refusing to get up after it falls down when learning to walk? No. When a baby fall down it will get right back up and keep trying until he/she learn to walk.

The best way to overcome fear is to face it.

God bless you,
