How to Overcome Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us
- Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love.
In order to effectively translate spiritual concepts into actions, and thereby create a more free flowing energy for your prosperity and abundance experience, it is of paramount importance to overcome your fears. Before you can move ahead in your prosperity experience you must consciously and willfully let go of fear. Here you can see how manifesting prosperity is built on letting go. The more you let go of your fears, the stronger your foundation for manifesting prosperity will be.
There are two main types of fear: The fear of failure and the fear of abundance.
Fear of failure takes three forms:
1. Fear: 'I have nothing.'
Overcome this by: If you have nothing to lose, then why fear? Any action you take will benefit you.
2. Fear: 'I have only a little to lose.'
Overcome by: If you have only a little to lose, then that small loss can easily be recovered and you can learn from the experience.
3. Fear: 'I have a lot to lose.'
Overcome by: In this situation, listen to the fear without becoming immobilized by it. Use your fear to learn about the risks and opportunities. Wisely make your decision after considering the risk and the potential for growth.
You may experience even a fear of success at a conscious or subconscious level. It's strange but true. Unless your self-image grows and you can see yourself in the successful life that you dream of, you will subconsciously sabotage your efforts. Deep down you are limiting yourself and so your subconscious finds ways to keep you from progress. To overcome your doubts, think of all your efforts to get here, and then carry on into experiencing the success that you have worked toward. As you do so, you will experience transformation and move from fear to courage in pursuing your dream.
You might hang onto the 'safety-line,' which is the something you fear losing. An example of safety-line is holding a job that you have outgrown but you are afraid to let go. Cutting this safety line means you have to go outside of your comfort zone. This expansion offers growth but you need to release your fears of the unknown, trusting your potential for growth.
So as you release your fear of moving outside of your comfort zone, your new prosperity and abundance will manifest. In many cases, the underlying reason for procrastination is based on fear. When you move past your fear, your procrastination naturally dissolves as your inner archetype of Warrior regains courage.
The Warrior Within
The Warrior archetype represents hidden forces inside you. Patience, stamina and bravery are some of the tools used by a warrior for development of the Self. The path of the warrior is sensible as effort is balanced with flexibility, gentleness with firmness. A quiet stream is powerful yet gentle in movement, so like water you should travel with ease in life.
The warrior is tough and courageous with a decisiveness that frees energies towards achievement of a goal. Taking the example of water, the warrior overcomes obstacles by going around them, submerging them by greater force, or taking a new path. As a warrior your battle is internal with your own instinctual drives.
Summary:
To create a more free flowing energy for your prosperity and abundance experience it is important to overcome your fears. The two main types of fear are fear of failure and fear of abundance. The Warrior archetype represents hidden forces inside you. Patience, stamina and bravery are some of the tools used by a warrior for development of the Self.
